They almost went together,
but there was too much ginger.
It made the green beans bitter,
but I liked the green beans' texture.
So I added a bunch of butter.
This made it slightly better,
but not enough to consider
Eating it altogether.
So I threw it in the fryer.
Turned the knob to medium power
and sprinkled on some pepper.
Adding a touch of agave nectar
This made it kind of sweeter.
But still it was just too sour
For me to want to devour
And that's when I discovered
I had teriyaki in the cupboard.
This gave it a bit more flavor
But not enough to savor
So I peeked into my freezer.
I found nothing worthwhile to see there.
I opened up my refrigerator
And grabbed two eggs for this mixture.
I scrambled it all together
The whole thing was quite a labor
Yet this dish was nothing to favor.
I will do well to remember
To be careful when adding green beans and ginger.
